We were thrilled to be entrusted with planning the 2024 Pérez Art Museum Miami’s annual Love and Conversation Luncheon, a prestigious event that brings together a select group of top planners in Miami. Each year, the luncheon revolves around a specific theme, and this year’s inspiration was “Cultivating Culture with Love.”
To build excitement for the event, we collaborated with Alpine Creative Group to create stunning printed invitations that set the tone for the occasion. Additionally, we launched a vibrant social media campaign encouraging attendees to share their cultural roots, fostering a sense of community and connection before the event even began.
The day kicked off with a lively cocktail hour inside the museum, featuring a menu that celebrated diverse cultures. Executive Chef Elgin from Constellation Culinary Group led an interactive cocktail station, serving up a fusion menu that delighted guests with an array of exquisite flavors and spices. To elevate the atmosphere, we enjoyed the enchanting sounds of a Brazilian bossa nova duo, creating an upbeat vibe as industry professionals mingled and reconnected.
As a delightful surprise, we transitioned guests with a vibrant second line, leading them to the auditorium where Jason Rhee of the Rheefined Company captivated the audience with his insights on the significance of culture in weddings and events. His engaging personal story resonated with everyone, sparking meaningful conversations.
After the presentation, the lively second line led guests to an elegantly arranged long table on the upper level of the auditorium, beautifully curated by Jassi & Co. The design was meticulously crafted, featuring a custom wooden centerpiece intricately carved with the word “love” in multiple languages. Each green floral arrangement symbolized various countries, showcasing the harmonious blend of cultures at the event. The French horn collective provided a melodic backdrop, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Following a delicious family-style luncheon, guests were invited to the third-level terrace, where they enjoyed dessert and tea against the stunning backdrop of the Miami skyline. As a final surprise, a Chinese lion dance performance symbolized good fortune and the warding off of evil spirits, adding a unique touch to the celebration.
On the terrace, guests reveled in a selection of teas, coffees, and a beautiful display of Turkish delights. It was truly a memorable luncheon, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire team that made this event possible. We look forward to another extraordinary gathering next year!
