ABOUT MASI EVENTS
from a team you can trust
We've planned and designed weddings together for over 12 years,
and we've been married for longer than that.
So rest assured, as a husband and wife team, we appreciate how important this day is to you.
And as a team of experts, we'll ensure every aspect comes together seamlessly.
Long before we began working as a team, Jessica got her start in New York City, specializing in corporate and non-profit events. Ultimately, she broke off on her own to plan weddings while Michael concentrated on a career in sales and business administration.
In 2008, we combined our diverse professional backgrounds and complementary skills to form Masi Events.
And we've been collaborating and playing to each other's strengths ever since.
We understand you're busy. You have decisions to make, a job and a life to maintain, and a fiancé to spend time with. The last thing you want to worry about is your wedding planner dropping the ball or not returning your call. And with us, you won't have to.
We started our careers in New York City. And while we love Miami and appreciate the "island time" mentality, we keep it far from our workplace and far from your wedding. We'll accommodate your busy schedules, respond quickly, and consistently stay ten steps ahead. We work hard so you can feel confident letting go of the reigns and fully depend on us.
When it comes to design, we'll do more than simply help you choose the perfect colors, linens, and flatware. We'll take note of your style and ideas and dive deep into why they are important to you. We'll explore the possibilities and share the options with you— while respectfully guiding you in a direction you're sure to love. Then we'll skillfully take your vision and transform it into an unforgettable celebration—beyond anything you could have imagined.
On your wedding day, we don't want you to worry about a thing. Instead, you should be relaxed and enjoying your people and party. This is why leading up to your big day, we work hard to ensure every aspect of your celebration is well-organized, meticulously prepared for, and thoughtfully planned.
First, we'll assess which vendors align with your style and budget. Then we'll gather all of the pertinent information and schedule vendor meetings for you—while keeping your needs {& travel schedule} in mind. And because we communicate the details with you along the way, all you have to do is sit back, make fun decisions, and enjoy the process.
With big decisions, strong emotions, and significant investments of time and money, there are bound to be ups and downs during this process. We understand. Truly. Not only have we worked with hundreds of couples, but we planned our own Miami wedding while living in New York City. We experienced first-hand many of the same concerns and challenges you may be having. And we see it as our role and responsibility to protect you from the chaos and stress.
First, we'll get to know to form a connection and a friendship. And then we'll go to work supporting you—as true friends and professionals do. From helping you choose and communicate with your vendors to making smart, split-second decisions for you on your wedding day, we're here to provide a sense of calm and reassurance. And to encourage and support you every step of the way.
They are extremely relaxed, hardworking, organized, and kind planners who will do everything they can to help you achieve your vision.
She makes you feel heard, and genuinely cared for, and she communicates amazingly, She just has this calming energy that makes you know that everything is going to work out. And not just work out, but be amazing.
He was a joy to work with, we always had a laugh (even through snafus), and by the time our wedding day came around we legitimately wanted him there as a guest (despite clearly needing him there as the master architect) because we adored working with him so much.
Masi Events has brought friendships, connections,
and so much joy into our lives.
This is so much more than a business.
It's a part of us. And an extension of our family.
And for that, we are forever grateful.
